Privacy Policy
Tests and necessary local features work without consent. Analytics and advertising choices are separate. We do not send page or quiz analytics events, load Google Analytics, Microsoft Clarity or Sentry, or create a persistent analytics identifier unless you explicitly opt in to analytics.
Advertising is provided by Google and its advertising partners. Read how Google uses data from sites that use its services. Advertising is not a condition of using a test, and declining optional data use does not necessarily remove all ads.
We do not intentionally collect sensitive personal information from quiz responses. Public result pages are generic result explanations, not pages generated from user names, private scores, or personal submissions.
Analytics, ads, and reliability vendors
If you opt in to analytics, this site may use Google Analytics, Microsoft Clarity, and Sentry for aggregated usage and reliability monitoring. These services may process cookies, device identifiers, IP addresses, browser information, interaction events, and diagnostic data according to their own policies. Analytics consent also enables browser-local test history and return-visit features.
On pages with advertising, Google's Privacy & messaging service determines whether its European consent message applies. In the EEA, the United Kingdom and Switzerland, Google's certified consent platform manages advertising purposes and vendors. We do not require visitors in every country to complete a European consent message. The platform stores necessary consent information separately from this site's analytics preference.
When Google reports that its European consent framework does not apply and there is no retained advertising-cookie rejection or unresolved previous choice, this site requests non-personalized AdSense ads by default. These ads are not cookie-free: Google and its partners may use cookies for ad delivery, measurement, frequency limits and fraud prevention. This does not grant this site's optional analytics permission or record an advertising opt-in on your behalf. Use the separate advertising-cookie controls below to allow or reject this use. Regional privacy requirements remain applicable.
Where a valid Google consent signal does not permit personalized or non-personalized ads, Google may instead serve limited ads. Limited ads do not use personal data for ad personalization. They are not completely cookie-free or data-free: IP addresses are used for delivery, scripts and creatives may be cached, and Google may use invalid-traffic-only cookies, local storage and Shared Storage to prevent fraud and abuse.
Missing or invalid regional consent information does not become permission. Advertising-cookie rejections remain protected, and an unresolved choice from the previous consent system requires a new advertising choice before AdSense loads. An ad blocker or lack of suitable ad demand may also mean no ad appears. Loading the consent platform or showing an eligible ad does not enable this site's analytics. Feedback and event data
If you submit feedback, we may store the page, locale, rating, optional message, browser user agent, and a hashed IP-derived identifier for abuse prevention. Raw IP addresses are not stored for feedback submissions.
Quiz and page events are used to understand site quality, completion rates, sharing, and next-test navigation. We do not track ad clicks.
Consent and choices
Use Privacy settings for the site's Allow analytics and Reject analytics controls. Allow advertising cookies and Reject advertising cookies are separate actions; they never enable analytics. Where Google's European message applies, Google advertising privacy settings reopens that message. A local advertising allowance cannot override Google's applicable consent requirements.
Declining analytics never grants or revokes advertising consent. Previous advertising rejections are not silently converted to permission when the consent provider changes. If the previous advertising choice cannot be determined, advertising-cookie use remains on hold until a new choice. We retain only a small necessary local choice and consent-model marker, not a TC string or vendor list. A retained Google advertising-storage rejection also remains protected if the visitor later moves outside that message's region.
If the consent platform cannot load, ads stay paused and the settings panel offers a page reload to retry. Reopening settings does not erase parent-domain cookies. The Google consent record can be shared within the parent site according to Google's messaging configuration. This privacy page and our terms page load neither AdSense nor Google's messaging tag; visit a test page to reopen Google's message. Revoking analytics consent stops future tracking and removes the site's known analytics identifier, browser-local analytics history and accessible analytics cookies, then reloads the page to stop loaded integrations. Revoking advertising-cookie use pauses requests and may reload the page to stop the loaded advertising integration. A genuine later advertising choice may also reload the page to apply it, so an in-progress test can restart. The site cannot delete cookies on Google's or other vendors' domains. Necessary, strictly local quiz features remain available.
